Portable hacking multi-tool
“Flipper Zero is a portable multi-tool for pentesters and geeks in a toy-like body. It loves hacking digital stuff, such as radio protocols, access control systems, hardware and more. It’s fully open-source and customizable, so you can extend it in whatever way you like.” - https://flipperzero.one/

Quick-start guide
After receiving your Flipper, it’s advised to find a spare microSD card, then follow the First start steps, SD card Setup, then Firmware update from the official documentation page - https://docs.flipperzero.one/basics/first-start
The best thing to do now is play around with and familiarise yourself with the Flipper by navigating around and reading the additional documentation for each section - https://docs.flipperzero.one/.
Some useful functionality available in the default configuration is cloning IR remotes and NFC tags (such as access tags for locations you are authorised to test, e.g. elevators, building access and parking garages).
This concludes the basic introduction to the Flipper.
Future posts will include custom firmware, unlocking additional features and recompiling firmware with custom plugins and tools.
If you’d like anything within your organisation assessed using the Flipper (e.g. building access controls), feel free to email us to request a meeting or quotation.
